To help us run the historic Paragon Carousel for the 84th season.
The Paragon Carousel, the Historic South Shore Amusement, is seeking a few great employees.
The Paragon Carousel operates Saturday & Sundays from April 7rd until June 17th and September 4th until October 28th
We operate 7 days per week starting June 16th until September 3th.
Here are the open positions:
CREAMERY MANAGER:
The Creamery Manager has full responsibility for the seasonal operation of the Carousel Ice Cream Shop according to specific food safety, cleanliness, and customer service guidelines. The Creamery Manager is responsible for the hiring, training and supervision of the staff; delivery of exemplary customer service; maintenance of all documented procedures and processes; cash handling at the register and daily reporting; inventory and purchasing control.
REPORTS TO: Executive Director/Development Director, Friends of the Paragon Carousel.
HOURLY POSITION: Salary based upon skills and experience
WORK SCHEDULE:
Available to work from March 12, 2012 until November 2, 2012.
Saturdays & Sundays - March 12 to June17 and September 7 to November 2
40 hours per week - June 18 to September 7
Additional compensation may be paid in accordance with the Friends of the Paragon Carousel’s Incentive Plan
GENERAL STAFF EMPLOYEES: (will be trained to do all the jobs at the Paragon Carousel)
All candidates must be 18 years of age in order to operate the Carousel ride.
All General Staff candidates must be able to do the following:
Stand on his/her feet for long hours
Multi-task a variety of functions
Move onto and off the Carousel while in operation
Lift 30 pounds a distance of 50 feet all within a loud environment
Operate a cash register with accuracy and speed
Display a positive behavior to all customers and visitors
Deliver great Customer Service to everyone
Work with others in a collaborative team environment
Be flexible in scheduling
Able to work on any day of the week including Saturday and Sunday
REPORTS TO: Carousel Manager or Creamery Manager
HOURLY POSITIONS: Salary based upon skills and experience
WORK SCHEDULE: Variable as scheduled by Manager
