Bubble Bonanza at the Carousel
with our Favorite Blue Pup from Down Under
Pop in for a week of bubbly fun at the Paragon Carousel! All week long, we’ll be celebrating with bubble-themed activities, playful surprises, and plenty of carousel magic.
The bubble fun reaches its peak on Thursday, July 30 from 11:00AM-1:00PM and then again 6:00–8:00 PM with Bubblebonanza with a visit from our favorite Blue Pup from Down Under! Guests can enjoy bubble crafts, hands-on bubble experiments, and fun activity stations all around the carousel.
Don’t miss our special Bubble Storms inside the carousel a Noon, 6:30, 7:00, 7:30, and 8:00 PM. It will be a bubbly, magical evening perfect for kids and families.
Come ride, play, experiment, and pop in for some bubble fun!
98th Birthday Celebration
National Carousel Day & the Paragon Carousel’s 98th Birthday Celebration
Come celebrate National Carousel Day and the 98th birthday of the historic Paragon Carousel with a full day of family fun!
We’ll be celebrating all day long with party games throughout the carousel, face painting, and plenty of birthday cheer. Stop by at 1:00 PM for birthday cake and enjoy a slice with us as we mark 98 wonderful years of rides, memories, and community.
From 3:00–5:00 PM, the celebration gets even more exciting with live circus performers! Watch a stilt walker and hula hoop artist perform around the carousel and bring a little extra magic to the day.

Captain Jack’s Pirate Adventure at the Carousel
Ahoy, mateys! Captain Jack is sailing into the Paragon Carousel for a swashbuckling day of pirate fun!
Kids can join Captain Jack for tug of war, pirate sword-fight training, a walk-the-plank game, pirate trivia, a treasure hunt, and a high-energy pirate dance party. Come dressed in your best pirate gear and get ready for laughs, adventure, and plenty of carousel fun.
It’s the perfect event for little pirates ready to test their skills, find treasure, and dance like they rule the seven seas!
80’s Night
80s Night at the Carousel
Step back in time and ride the historic Paragon Carousel with 80s music pumping all night long! Guests are encouraged to dress in their best 80s attire — think neon, leg warmers, big hair, denim jackets, and plenty of fun.
Strike a pose at our 80s Photo Station and show off your retro style. We’ll also be awarding a prize for the Best 80s Outfit, so come ready to rock the carousel like it’s 1985!

Ride-In Movie at the Carousel
Kick off summer with a magical Ride-In Movie Night at the Paragon Carousel! The movie will begin at 6:30 PM and will be announced shortly.
For $20, guests can purchase a bracelet that includes a soda, popcorn, and unlimited carousel rides while the movie is playing.
Don’t feel like riding? No problem! Pull up a chair, relax, and enjoy the movie from the carousel. A perfect summer night of family, fun, and carousel magic!
Field of Flags
Join us as we honor our Flag, Loved Ones, Veterans, and Members of the Armed Forces. Flags will be displayed on the Carousel Lawn. Add a flag to our Field of Flags for a $20 donation and that person’s name will be included in our program and read aloud during the ceremony.
Patriotic musical selections will be performed by the Paragon Carousel Chorale. Please join us for our annual tribute.
Proceeds directly support the ongoing restoration efforts of the historic Paragon Carousel.

5:00–6:00 PM – “Boo”tifully Tame Time
Perfect for your little pumpkins! Our Not-So-Scary Haunted Carousel is just spooky enough to thrill without the chills. Ideal for young ghouls and goblins who prefer treats over tricks.
7:00–9:00 PM – Fright After Dark
The scares get real for guests ages 8 and up! Take a spin through our haunted ride and creep through scenes crawling with costumed creatures straight from your nightmares (brought to life by the talented Hingham High School Theater Department). Beware... you never know who—or what—is lurking behind the horses.
Rides. Frights. Delights. It's going to be ghoul-tastic.
