Visit the Paragon Carousel

The Paragon Carousel is open for the season visit us on Saturdays and Sundays 11am-4pm

We’re located on the South Shore of Massachusetts, at 205 Nantasket Avenue in the beautiful seaside town of Hull. 

All attractions, including the Carousel, Restoration Studio, Paragon Park Museum, and Carousel Creamery, are within walking distance of each other.

Carousel Ticket Prices:
Single Ride - $3
10 Ride Pass - $25


Museum Admission is a suggested donation of $2 for the continued restoration and operation of the Carousel

 

Visitor Parking

Visitor parking at the Paragon Carousel

In Season:
Between Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day, the DCR Parking Lots adjacent to Nantasket Beach are paid lots until 5pm daily. Rates are $15 for in-state visitors. See here for more information and instructions.

Parking in front of the Carousel on Nantasket Avenue is restricted to two hours and strictly enforced. Please be considerate of our neighbors and friends – please don’t park in the clearly-marked crosswalks in front of the Paragon Carousel.

Off Season:
Beginning on the Tuesday after Labor Day and ending on the Friday before Memorial Day weekend, all DCR parking lots are free, and there are no parking restrictions on Nantasket Avenue.

Event Parking:
When you book an event at the Paragon Carousel, complimentary parking behind the Clock Tower is available for you and a limited number of guests.


Pet Policy

We love your furry friends and are happy to welcome leashed, well-behaved, and socialized dogs and all service animals on Carousel grounds. This remains under sole discretion of Carousel management, however, and pets may be asked to leave the premises at any time. Pets are not permitted to ride the Carousel.

Please note that dogs are not allowed on Nantasket Beach between June 15th and Labor Day, per the Town of Hull.


 

Photography & Videography Policy

Please note that your presence at the Carousel constitutes your consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded for the purposes of Friends of the Paragon Carousel communications and related outreach activities. These materials may be used in perpetuity. 

PERSONAL PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY

Photography and videography for personal, private, noncommercial use are allowed free of charge (exclusive of ride admissions) in all areas. Personal photographs/videos may not be published, sold, reproduced, distributed, or otherwise commercially exploited in any manner.

No photographs or videos may be taken of other guests’ children at the Paragon Carousel by guests or visitors without the express written permission of their parent or legal guardian.

Wedding & Engagement Photography at the Paragon Carousel

COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY

Photography, videography, or any other commercial recording must be approved in advance by the Friends of the Paragon Carousel. This includes any images of Paragon Carousel grounds, gardens, events, activities, or exhibits used as a visual background for another organization or to promote a product, firm, or organization.

No commercial photography or recording may take place without written permission. This also includes yearbook, family, and wedding/engagement photo shoots.

Directions

From Boston: 
Take Route 93 South (Southeast Expressway). Go left at “the split” to “Route 3 South/Cape Cod”. Take Exit 35 (formerly 14), MA 228 North - Nantasket Beach. (Turn left at the bottom of the ramp.) Continue on RT 228 - Stay alert and watch for 228 North signs going through Hingham! When you arrive at the traffic lights at the Route 3A intersection, go straight across and follow directions below From the Route 3A/Route 228 intersection.

From Cape Cod: 
Take Route 3 North from the Bourne Bridge. Take Exit 35 (formerly 14), MA 228 North - Nantasket Beach. (Go Right at the bottom of ramp). Continue on RT 228 - Stay alert and watch for 228 North signs going through Hingham! When you arrive at the traffic lights at the Route 3A intersection, go straight across and follow directions below From the Route 3A/Route 228 intersection.

From the Route 3A/Route 228 intersection:
Drive TWO miles. When you come around the bend and see the ocean, you are almost there! Continue for another half mile, the Paragon Carousel is on the left, next to The Clock Tower, and opposite a DCR (Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation) Parking Lot and the Bernie King Pavilion.
